Indiana Jones

Shayna

Sebastian - the most recent addition to the feline family.  Showed up as a stray during the winter of 2012 and was in love with all of his new kitty friends, giving them kisses every chance he got (except for Shayna).

This is his favorite spot, on the back of the sofa.

Gone to the Rainbow Bridge

Shayna

Shayna crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 12/19/2023

Shayna was abandoned by her mom in my backyard when she was only 3 months old.

She'd been with me for 13 years and was the most shy with strangers, but would sometimes come out to visit.

She loved to snuggle up with me and get belly rubs. I hope she's reunited in spirit with the feline love of her life, Indiana Jones.

Wally, the infamous Ginger Cat crossed the bridge on 6/29/2022
Wally
He loved everyone and was the peace-maker of the crew. Diagnosed with diabetes in 2017 and was so good-natured when I had to poke his ears to get a blood sample to check his blood sugar. He took his insulin shots without a flinch. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.

Indiana Jones, aka The Panther crossed the bridge on 7/12/2022

Indy was the last of the "Boston" cats and was about 17.5 years old. He was diagnosed with lymphoma 2.5 years ago along with kidney disease and high blood pressure. He outlived all expectations and will be missed terribly.

Indiana Jones

Hannah

She crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Mother's Day, May 12, 2019 at the ripe old age of 21+. The house seems so quiet without her. She loved Tofutti Cheese slices, Phoney Baloney and Nutritional Yeast.

Hannah

Abigail
Abigail, crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 8:35 a.m. on December 2, 2011. She captivated everyone she met.  She has been buried next to Romeo.

Queenie

Queenie, We are sad to report that Queenie crossed the Rainbow Bridge on August 10, 2010.  She finally succumbed to her illness. She is buried alongside Macy Grey and Erin.  Her will to live was indomitable, but her disease took its toll. She taught us all about patience, unconditional love and endurance. As the matriarch of the clan she will be missed by all.

Our beloved Romeo, with Gita

Romeo:July 1996-June 2011

I am sad to tell you that Romeo passed over the Rainbow Bridge on June 8, 2011, at 10:30 a.m.  He had been recently diagnosed with lymphoma and it ravaged his body. He wasn't able to respond to chemotherapy and he let me know that it was time to let him go.

His name said it all.  He was happy to get petted 24 hours a day and loved everyone he met.

He is buried next to his sister, Juliette, Abigail, Queenie, Erin, Moses and Macy Grey.  A stone bird bath marks his grave along with a kitty angel.

Juliette, Romeo's sister Juliette

July 1996 - June 8, 2012

Juliette finally succumbed to her severe heart disease on June 8th, 2012, exactly a year to the day that we said goodbye to her brother, Romeo.

She outlived the vets' expectations by more than 1.5 years and her quality of life was good to the end.

Her passing was peaceful, but has left yet another void in the household.

Erin and Moses

I was their foster mom, but their adoption fell through because of Erin's ongoing medical issues.

Erin was the orange girl and her brother Moses was twice her size.  They were living with their mom about 1.5 miles from here and we did a TNR (Trap/Neuter/Release) on the mom, but the kittens were relatively friendly so I took them in.

I officially adopted them on 1/27/2010!

Erin finally succumbed to her medical problems on May 15th and has now crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.  She is buried in the yard, next to her brother Moses and Macy Grey.  She had a zest for life and maybe it's because she knew that life was so precious and might be very short.

I will miss this little one.  She filled my house with such joy.

Moses died unexpectedly on April 6, 2015 of a massive stroke.  He had just come home from the vet, with a clean bill of health.  I released him from the carrier and he suddenly had a seizure and was gone in less than a minute.

I rushed him back to the vet, but there was nothing we could do.  I brought him back so the others could say their final goodbyes.  He is buried next to his sister, Erin.

The house seems too quiet without him.  Wally is missing his best friend.

Macy Grey

Macy Grey -

Went over the Rainbow Bridge on 8/15/09 after suffering from Acute Renal Failure. I know she's reunited with all of her other kitty friends.  She was much too young to leave us and will be sorely missed.

She's buried in the front garden with catnip plants surrounding her.

Rest in Peace, baby.
